Kent’s longest street parade is the heart of community spirit! This cherished Heritage Carnival is a vibrant celebration and testament to the growing bond of the local community. From the bustling parade winding through town to the lively atmosphere at Government Acre, there's something for everyone.

Margate Carnival
Kent’s oldest and most popular Carnival takes over the streets each year when scores of local youth clubs, dance schools, drama companies, along with other societies gather for a procession which has its roots in Lord Sanger’s circus parades through the town over 120 years ago.
