St George's Day Parade - We are overjoyed to be working with St George's Church in Ramsgate on annual St George's Day Spring Parades for the fourth year in 2026. Our connection to the Ramsgate community runs deep. Our Samba band, Samba Ya Wantsum, is based here, as is our Creative Director, Teresa Askew, and artist Director, Jimmy Edwards, who joined our actitivities in the town when he was a young boy and has grown with us, as have many of our participants here. In 2026 this project is supported by Ramsgate Town Council, Ramsgate Town Council, the Diocese of Canterbury and Ramsgate Neighbourhood Board for Pride in Place.
